Ujjwal Foundation remained concerned for the marginalised and vulnerable segment of the population but not limited to those only. In the larger context, we have expanded our work for Women & Girls, Men & Boys, Children & Adolescents, and Youth & Aged population groups. On the marginalised & vulnerable section, we are working with tribal populations and particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTGs). Each group/segment is having own issues, concerns, and repercussions. Keeping, the context in mind Ujjwal works on a need-based solution to cater to them on prospering and excelling in economic and social well-being. We focus on the group-specific issues of the area, locality, and neighborhood context for holistic development.
The Ujjwal germination started long back in 2009 to cater the need of rural, deprived, marginalised, remote and unprivileged. The rise of confidence and formation of Ujjwal embodied supporting, pushing, and enhancing capabilities of those who seem to have potential to grow but needed ignition.
