Within the umbrella of SDGs, achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls is a priority concern. The said commitments are needed with bold action to accelerate progress, indulging from laws, policies, and budgets to institutions. Such acts will advance gender equality by enabling social protection, and economic stimulus packages for digital empowerment are much needed at the time. Investment in gender statistics is also vital so accumulating data, generating shreds of evidence, and advocating for policy concerns are important. Hence, we are working on data and communicating evidence for the promotion of economic and social development strategies to push for higher autonomy and empowerment of women and girls.
The Ujjwal germination started long back in 2009 to cater the need of rural, deprived, marginalised, remote and unprivileged. The rise of confidence and formation of Ujjwal embodied supporting, pushing, and enhancing capabilities of those who seem to have potential to grow but needed ignition.
