Dr. Geeta has advanced training in the domain of Maternal and Child Healthcare, focusing on access to services within Tribal communities in the Central Himalaya to synthesising evidences using a mixed-methods approach combined with institutional ethnography.
Her responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum with a significant focus on MCH Care, tribal health, gender, inclusion, vulnerability, indigenous practices, and the strengthening of health systems, among others.
With over five years of professional experience, she has played a pivotal role as the Nodal Technical Consultant for Tribal Health at MoHFW, Govt. of India. She has also extended her expert services to GIDR, IEG, and UNICEF.
Her expertise extends to managing, monitoring, and coordinating multifaceted initiatives effectively. She oversees and coordinates programs, interventions, and targeted activities with a keen emphasis on timely execution.
